When it comes to drugs and rehab, it would be wise to take advice from a girl who has been through it all. Drew Barrymore, who has been to rehab twice starting at the age of 14, is offering some advice for the Young Hollywood party generation.
” If you don t pull it together for yourself, no one else will,” she says in the upcoming issue of Vogue. ” That s coming from a person who had to try it all… and who still loves to have a good time.”
Barrymore started drinking at the age of 9 and first tried cocaine at the age of 12. The good thing is that she made it out alive. How do you do coke at the age of 12? Isn t that 7th grade?! I hadn t even had my first kiss in 7th grade. It s safe to say I was not part of the cool click. But then again, Drew was a child actress and the entertainment industry is whole different ball game.
